Agreement
By using qrwear.org you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. We may update these terms, and the date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version.
What Qrwear is
Qrwear is an independent educational publication about wearable QR technology. Our articles are general information. They aren't medical, legal, financial, security or safety advice for your situation, and a QR code is never a substitute for emergency services.
Acceptable use
You may read, share and link to our pages for personal and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to copy the site wholesale, scrape it in a way that strains our servers, try to break into or disrupt it, use our contact form to send spam or harmful content, or pretend to be Qrwear or one of our writers.
If you send us a message or a guest post, you confirm it's yours to share and doesn't break anyone else's rights.
Intellectual property
The text, design, layout and original graphics on Qrwear belong to Qrwear unless noted. You may quote short passages with a link back to the original article. For anything more, ask us first through the contact page.
Headlines shown in our feed sections belong to their publishers. We show only the headline and a link, and the full articles stay on the publishers' own sites.
Accuracy and changes
We work hard to get things right and to correct mistakes quickly. Technology, laws and products change, though, and an article may go out of date. We may edit, update or remove content at any time without notice.
External links and services
We link to other websites, show third-party headlines, display ads and use outside services such as an ad server and a newsletter form provider. We don't control those services and aren't responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or free of errors, viruses or other harmful parts.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Qrwear and its writers aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss that comes from using or relying on the site, its links or any QR code system you build based on what you read here. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Indemnity
If your misuse of the site or breach of these terms leads to a claim against Qrwear, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in South Carolina, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
